Ant Control – Call in the Professionals!
Although there are countless thousands of species of ants, there are only 2 kinds in Britain which are typically regarded as pests.
Black garden ants are dark brown and nest in the soil, underneath paving slabs and below building foundations. They attack buildings, on the hunt for sweet foodstuffs. These forager ants are up to 5mm in length. While they don’t carry any communicable illnesses, these insects can however be most aggravating.
Just the smallest crack is sufficient for ants to be in a position to get into your home and set up a colony. And, once established, this could comprise thousands of insects, and be exceedingly tricky to shift. Even the most clean homes and offices can be invaded by these little armies.
There are 1 or 2 basic measures anybody can take to keep these creatures in check. If you keep the oily and sweet food these pests love in airtight boxes, for instance, they’ll have far less reason to invade your house.
You could also try keeping a piece of lemon peel in the sugar bowl, place cinnamon or bread soda in entry point cracks, or put a circle of Vaseline around pets’ bowls to keep them out of animals’ food and water.
There is also a range of pest management products for ants on the market, including many chemical-based treatments in liquid, powder or granule form. For black ants, it’s important to keep the area where they are on the hunt for food clean. Also, you can follow the trail of scavenging ants to find their nest. You may then remove or destroy this using a pesticide dust.
Executives in controlling ants can access parts of a building’s structure you’ll not be able to reach yourself, and know where to find the insects. They also know what bait to put where, and have large range of products and systems to provide continuing protection from and eradication of ants.
